Mission: Our club was created in 1959 and is located in Salt Lake City, Utah - Area 2, District 9 of Zonta International. We are a leading organization of professionals who work diligently through fundraising, service and advocacy efforts to help support women in need. We believe education and support of women is vital for systemic change, not only locally, but across the globe.
Results: Through our fundraising efforts we are able to help support the following: Education Tuition Aid: $4000-$6000 a year in donations to help with tuition aid for women who want to further their skills and education. Local Donations: Through our fundraising efforts we have been able to provide donations to local organization. A few we have been able to support are: People Helping People: $3000 Yoga Forward: $3000 Safe Harbor Crisis Center: $1000 Service Projects: Through our time and efforts we have been able to provide service to the following organizations: Utah Food Bank: Decoration of food boxes for recipients. House of Hope: Annual Holiday drive of gifts donated from our members for the Angel Tree children. The Period Project: Donated and put together kits of period products for several local high schools. Passionate Wings: Provided donations and time spend organizing items at this facility that helps provide personal items to women in need. U.G.L.Y.'s Closet: Collection of donated items from our members to help this organization in their support of empowering and equipping single parents to better support themselves and their families.
