The YWCA of North Orange County is a grassroot, independently incorporated 501 (c ) (3) Human Service Organization. This is its strength. As a CEO in the nonprofit sector for over 37 years, I applaud the organization for giving back 82% of every dollar to program services and outreach. My mother and sister died of breast cancer. The YWCA of North Orange County's Neighborhood Link To Breast Cancer Screening Program that reach uninsured or medically uninsured women with early prevention mammograms, clinical breast exams, diagnostic studies and follow up, if needed, touches my heart. These are ladies that would go undiagnosed, or diagnosed at a later stage because they are poor. Empowering women in a time where women's rights are being taken away is also a passion of mine. To disclose I am the CEO of the YWCA of North Orange County and a non-voting member of our Board of Directors, but my passions and belief is with the mission of the YWCA of North Orange County. That is why the YWCA of North Orange County does such a good job serving our communities.
