Causes: Homeless & Housing, Human Services, Young Mens or Womens Associations
Mission: YWCA North Central Washington is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Target demographics: Community members in need, homeless women and families.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2013 we served our community by providing 10,063 collective bednights in our emergency shelter for women and transitional housing. We provided 6,680 hours of on the job training for under experienced individuals seeking permanent full time employment. We gave 856 free outfits totaling $10,514 to women seeking work.
Geographic areas served: Greater Wenatchee Valley
Programs: Job training, emergency housing for homeless women, transitional housing for women and families and clothing and hygiene products for those in need.
