YTH does amazing work in a underfunded and vital part of our society--helping teens and young adults navigate the worlds of sexual and mental health in a technologically savvy, non-judgmental way. It's a lean, highly effective organization with a great team that punches way above its weight.

This organization is excellent and has conducted some of the seminal work on youth and technology. The organization works diligently to advance the health of young people through technology. There are numerous examples of how this has been actualized. For example, they have developed, with cultural humility and competency, a program to connect transgender youth to health services and support. Another example is that they conducted a national study to understand cyberbullying among youth. The list goes on. The work and impact of the organization has garnered significant media attention, with stories in over 50 media channels, including CNN, MSNBC, The Guardian, Yahoo! News, The Huffington Post, The Journal of Adolescent Health, NBC, latino men. The organization also hosts an annual conference that brings together hundreds of the brightest minds in youth advocacy, health, and technology to showcase what works, share ideas, and seed collaborations. For anyting having to do with youth, technolgy, and health, YTH is THE go to organization.

Does talking about sex with adolescents cause them to become sexually active earlier? Should we tell youth about birth control and condoms? These are the questions that we have asked ourselves and found some answers (talking about sex doesn't cause youth to have sex and comprehensive information is necessary). Today, we have a different set of questions. How do young people "hook-up" on the internet and are these relationships more risky? Where do adolescents go online to get information about sexual topics and what do they learn? Can new media be used to engage youth in health promotion activities and to provide accurate and trusted information? These new questions are the one's being adeptly addressed by Deb Levine and ISIS. While many choose to bury their head in the sand or try and keep adolescents from accessing media (aka, my kids aren't allowed on Facebook), ISIS is developing the means to make these new information mediums powerfully useful for youth. They also convene the best thinkers around the world to address these issues in their SexTech Conference. Most important of all, they have a dedication, passion and committment for helping young people that is unsurpassed. I can not recommend them more highly. Look at their website and see for yourself!

I've followed YTH since the very beginning of my professional career as a sexuality educator. They have impressed me with their devotion to amplifying youth voice, paying attention to gaps and needs, and global engagement in regards to adolescent health. By being focused on outcomes, research, and effectiveness, they have shown themselves to be rockstars in the field. Thanks, YTH!

YTH has been going strong for over a decade and continues to redefine what it means to advance the health and wellness of young adults in and around the US.

YTH is one of the few organizations I have interacted with that truly walks the talk when it comes to having their beneficiaries lead. They are deeply committed to youth developing the programs that will ultimately benefit youth. This permeates their board, staff and program development teams. In this way they are humble; they believe those closest to the challenges have the best solutions and empower them to build solutions.

YTH is always out ahead of the curve on how youth are engaging with each other and the world through technology. They take that and figure out how to meet youth where they are to meet their health needs.

YTh accomplishes a lot with a streamlined and efficient team. Their focus is on impact over bureaucracy and they remain deeply committed and connected to generating impact.

YTH truly puts the Youth in Youth+Tech+Health, by always including youth in the design and development process of all of their programs. Young people are the center of their work, and the beneficiaries of the innovations that they develop alongside them. Their annual YTH Live conference showcases work happening in the field from all over the world on reaching youth people with health information using today's technology. In fact, this year's conference included a global health, mental health, and sexual/reproductive health and rights tracks in their program, and attendees included young people and health and/or tech professionals alike! It was a fantastic place to learn (side note: I believe the 2018 YTH Live conference is their decade anniversary, so likely not to be missed! ythlive.org).

As a young activist, YTH helped me find my voice and passion for sexual and reproductive health. The mentorship and guidance provided by the executive leadership has transformed my career path and helped mold me into the youth advocate I am today. Through their youth advisory board and YTH Live, YTH has centered youth in its approach to creating innovative solutions by providing professional development and networking opportunities. I, among many others, have been tremendously impacted in positive ways by the opportunities and projects that YTH has worked on for over 10 years. After starting off as a youth advisory board member, I now have the privilege to be on the board of directors due to the organization's focus of promoting youth leaders who serve as advocates for youth, health, and technology. This is why YTH deserves to be listed as a great non-profit organization.

YTH is a dedicated nonprofit that focuses on improving the health of young people through innovative tech solutions. They work hard to partner with top medical providers to disseminate the best information to the communities they serve while also involving those communities via their Youth Advisory Board, Tech Advisory board and more. In addition, they run their YTH Live event each year in SF where leaders in tech and public health come together to shape the future of their work and connect in order to form valuable partnerships.

I've used YTH for a myriad of research and public health programs in San Francisco and California YTH is the only non-profit with a decade+ of work in social media and sexual health. They are nimble, quick and unbelievably creative. As a health official I have found them easy to work with and highly cost-effective. In addition YTH is eager to present and share their work in medical conferences, scientific meetings and with other groups.

I first attended YTH Live this year in 2017 and was excited to be a part of a conference that brings together leading organizations around the topics of youth, sexual health, and technology--such a great exchange of information and resources. I will definitely be participating again this year. I've had the pleasure of consulting with YTH on several health design projects and their thoughtful approach to designing technology, involving the youth and communities their serving through the process is incredibly value and shows in their work.

I've attended YTH Live since 2013 and continued to be impressed by the conference each and every year. In fact, I was a youth speaker during my first year in attendance and was so impressed by the platform YTH gave to young people that I joined their Youth Advisory Board and got as involved as possible with the organization and their fantastic work.

We met Deb and the ISIS crew when they approached us to partner in the support of the SexTech Conference in SF on April 1st and 2nd. We met them at YU and at their office regularly over a two month period. Our experience with the entire staff was fantastic. They are experts in the arena of sexual health for young people and completely professional in their approach to our partnership. They taught us much about the field and were open to the input of our youth staff. They were encouraging, positive and helpful in the many projects we undertook together. We were so happy to partner with them and look forward to building the relationship over the years.

I have had the honor of watching ISIS grow from its infancy to become one of the leaders in sexual health prevention and education on a national scale. ISIS has been able to weave its way through multiple fields and position itself as an example and mentor for many other non profits, businesses and gov't agencies working in not only sexual health but also in new media and technology.

Working for ISIS has been one of the most incredible experiences I have had! It is so gratifying to be involved in an organization that has it's sights set on reaching as many people as possible with invaluable information about sexual health and healthy sex practices. Before my time at ISIS, I was not as aware of how important new media is in disseminating information to youth, and getting youth and young adults involved in the larger conversations about sex. The work ISIS does is innovative, forward-thinking, and impacting countless young adults and their health.

I have had the absolute pleasure of working with ISIS over the last few years and I can say I am proud to be associated with such a forward thinking organization. Deb's commitment to youth and education is inspiring. I can not say enough about ISIS dedication to making sure sex education and information is presented in such a positive and realistic manner. I recommend ISIS without hesitation.

I've been following the achievements and initiatives that Deb Levine and her team over at ISIS have accomplished for a while now. However, finally getting a chance to attend their premiere event and delivering a talk gave me a new appreciation for the work they are doing. Bringing together professionals as well as activities/advocates young and old is not usually an easy task. But the ISIS crew made sure it happened. Informative and well planned out - there is only upward for this important organization.

ISIS was founded by Deb Levine, a pioneer in... pretty much every area of health education on the Web. Hard to believe that one person can launch Go Ask Alice and the for-profit ThriveOnline, then hit it out of the park with INSPOT, sexinfo and the Sex::Tech Conference. The organization grew, innovated, and delivered while I served on the board. I stepped aside when they outgrew me. Quality product and lean efficiency showed the way to use the Web to other non- profit organizations, corporations, and the public sector. Scalability? Check. Personalization? Check. Usability? Check. ISIS delivered on everything. I've worked with CEOs of Fortune 500 corps, high powered public officials, Olympic athletes. I'm not easily impressed. But call me a fan. I am as proud of my association with ISIS, their courage, and their delivery, as I am of anything I have participated in during my career.

ISIS how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height your projects reach For the ends of Being and ideal Grace under such pressures that come with the territory. I love thee to the level of everyday's most quiet need, by sun and candle-light ISIS reveals the truth. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as teens struggle with age. I love thee with a passion put to use upon the health of this nation I love thee with a love I seemed once to have lost Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- ISIS, I love you more each day.

ISIS provides relevant and useful information and services to individuals hoping to better understand the impact of STD's - to learn and become informed about STD's and to seek guidance when an STD is suspected. ISIS is familiar with a variety of communication tools that reach into the population of individuals most likely to be afflicted by STD's. They have focused their work on youth but have also provided services that have helped a broad range of individuals affected by STD's. They know what they are doing and are courageous in tackling a topic so few are willing to address in the US - Sex! Yay for ISIS

How can I say this with out spending to much time with the key board. "ISIS was and is AWESOME to be a part of!" The experience of working with Deb and the ISIS crew has brought me closer to the community I am living in. Being a Gay man I am aware of the circumstances with which we enter and expose ourselves to but, ISIS allowed me to see a different side of the equation when it comes to sexually transmitted diseases. From helping with an HIV study, to being involved with teen communication on the subject of sex and risk, ISIS is reaches out in areas that are greatly needed and largely ignored because of fear or ignorance. Keep it up Deb you, ISIS and your staff are making amazing strides in the "act" of communication regarding sexual behavior between people, not just teens or gay men.

I first heard about ISIS while looking for resources for sexuality professionals interested in learning more about technology. I attended and presented at their first conference and was blown away not only by the quality of speakers and attendees, but by the diverse group they attracted, on both sides of the registration tables. ISIS has an ability to engage youth and professionals serving youth without ever talking down to either group, and without ever minimizing the importance of either groups voice. They understand what is exciting and useful about using technology for health interventions, but equally understand that it's human interactions and relationships that give life to most tech interventions.

I am continually amazed by this organization. The ingenuity and dedication of the incredible staff has given rise to a wide array of impressive, effective, widely used projects. It is extraordinary that such a small staff can produce so much- the annual conference on technology and sexual health; the inSPOT website for partner notification, STD information, and locating clinics; appointment and prescription reminders through text messaging; websites for public health clinics; and lots more... I am truly in awe of these highly creative, dynamic folks.

Technology is re-shaping people's relationships and creating communities. Understanding applications for technology in health promotion is essential for groups interested in promoting healthy behaviors, especially in these lean economic times. ISIS is the bridge that can adeptly guide youth, men who have sex with men, health departments, researchers, and companies on efficiently and appropriately using technology to promote sexual health.

ISIS Inc is an incredible organization. Small and powerful, they tackle taboo subjects such as young people's sexual health with professionalism, grace, and honesty. They have excellent relationships with community stakeholders, including youth and MSM, as well as CBOs, health departments and national funders.

ISIS is a unique organization that is using cutting edge technology to communicate with you and other at-risk groups about potentially taboo topics. They are raising awareness and educating the communities in which they work. Everyone that I worked with was extremely talented and passionate about the work they are doing and were very receptive to the ideas generated by our volunteer team.
