Causes: Human Services, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: Youth Opportunities is dedicated to ensuring that children with, or at risk of, serious emotional and behavioral problems can exercise self‑determination, achieve their potential and be positive contributors to society. By providing effective behavioral‑healthcare services to such children and their families, and by advocating for recognition of and responsiveness to their needs, Youth Opportunities strives to make this ideal a reality for all children.
Target demographics: children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges
Direct beneficiaries per year: 1,476 children, adolescents, and their families
Programs: Comprehensive Clinical Assessment, Day Treatment Programs, Outpatient Therapy, Psychiatric & Medication Management, and Intensive In-Home Services -- an increasingly integrated and comprehensive system of services for children, adolescents, and families.
