Causes: Crime & Law, Education, Public Interest Law
Mission: To provide legal and other related social services to indigent children through research, education, training and outreach projects to inform the community on issues related to juvenile crime delinquency and protecting human rights.
Programs: Youth advocacy project (yap) provides advocacy and legal representation for young people who are not able to retain legal counsel. Yap uses a collaborative advocacy model that incorporates legal services, clinical assessment and outreach to support partnerships with state and local groups, and schools.
