I absolutely love Harvest House. The good this organization is doing for our community. I have been donating my time for over three years and have seen lives changed! What an amazing network of people with the same end game; Jesus and helping our community!
Harvest House, has been a blessing to my family. Times are hard and HH is always willing to help and are very gracious. They have been our saving grace every time. I am so blessed to have this organization in our community.
This is a great resource for the Burleson community! I have enjoyed volunteering with this organization. The staff are wonderful and helpful.

The best resource for those in need in the Burleson and surrounding area. They say it takes a village, in this case it takes "The Harvest House".
Harvest House does such a great job providing for the community. There is always plenty to help with and their events are fun.
We moved to Texas 2019 and had many items to donate and we found Harvest House. For years we donated to resell and the pantry. In 2023 I was in college and asked to do a budget analysis for a non-profit and chose Harvest House. I was amazed by their generous giving to the community and small administration costs and this led me to decide to volunteer at Harvest House Pantry checking families in for food. I love Harvest House's Christ Centered focus on helping the children, elderly and others in need in a loving and caring manner.
I will be a lifelong volunteer!
This is a WONDERFUL organization. I feel blessed and honored to be a small part of it. They are compassionate, kind and very professional in the way they serve the community. They are doing a GREEEEEAT service to the people in need!
I am a volunteer, and I love the atmosphere and the people, workers and volunteers. God Bless them all.
This ministry helps as many people as there are money and groceries are available. Sooo many in need. We townsfolk should be .as supportive and generous as we can
Harvest House is a terrific charity opportunity for our community! Thankful for everything they are doing to help give to people in need.
It is evident that God is at work here! I feel loved and supported here from the moment I walk in to the hugs when I leave.
Harvest House is an awesome organization that truly cares about its community. They go above and beyond to help people in need. They provide food, clothing, prayer, and a lot of encouragement. I volunteer once a week at the food pantry and am happy to serve alongside such caring and kind individuals who want the best for others and are willing to help any way they can. I’m so thankful Burleson has this wonderful resource as we all need help from time to time.
Great resource in our town. The resale shop is full with items. I know this must be an overwhelming place to work. Trying to decider between trash donations and good items must take a long time. Thankful for the food pantry too!
I love to go by the Harvest House Resale store and check for treasures quite often! But I also enjoyed taking my kids on a Servin' Saturday. We had a great time working in the back, sorting clothes to be put out for sale. Love this place. Love that local churches (No matter the denomination!) come together to support this ministry. Awesome!
As one of the admins for the Moms of Burleson Facebook group, I often refer our members to Harvest House when they have needs such as food or clothing. We also keep Harvest House on our List of Resources that members can have access to. I, myself, shop there often and donate to them. They are meeting the needs of our community! Way to go Harvest House!
I work in the Food Pantry once a week. We see all types of people in need. Our system of letting them shop for their own groceries, gives them the dignity that they deserve as brothers and sisters in Christ. In addition, the people that work at the Food Pantry do their work with joy and humor. I think the clients that we serve, enjoy this atmosphere as well. We ask the local community to continue to support us. Your help does make a difference, a positive one, for all involved.
The people working there are rude I went in one time for something and was screamed at for asking for Items and I told the person working there that I was willing to make a donation for the items she told me that she could no help with what I needed and then stated we are a charity to help the poor and under privileged people in our community Even If I needed the help this would be the last place I would go to for help. I feel bad for those that do and have to depend on this place for help
Everyone that we dealt with from the food pantry and the storehouse all seemed to genuinely care that we were less fortunate than they were. All of them were friendly, caring, concerned and considerate. Thank you all for making an unpleasant experience a pleasurable one!!
I have had nothing but grief from this place, they are rude and will not help my family of 5 in desperate need. I am disabled and cannot work and sometimes need help. The staff is rude and judgemental, and the Director (With long black/brown hair) is very mean and rude. I have several friends as well who they have turned down for help! My income was less than $400.00 for 3 months and they would not help. However, the one time that they did give us a tiny bit of food, it was 2 cans of beans, stale bread, a bag of rice with weevils in it and 2 boxes of ceral that were crushed and the bags were already opened. I don't know how they stay in business or how they get grant money, they are supposed to help people, not hurt them!
