Ywu staff and members conduct consultations and determine how we can support workers; i. E. Demand letters to employers, wage claims with olse and/or dlse, organizing campaigns through worker committees, etc. Ywu has participated supporting rights of local labor laws such as minimum wage, paid sick days, formula retail employee rights ordinance, etc. In 2016-2017 surveyed around 120 retail workers to produce report with the center for law and social policy around implementation of fair scheduling legislation.
