Programs: Youth fitness - this includes gymnastics, martial arts, dance, and t-ball. These programs give children 3 years old to high- school age the opportunity to learn a skill and improve self- confidence; work in a group with other children to develop team leadership and cooperation; and provide a fun way to exercise and develop habits for a healthier life. Scholarship assistance is available to qualifying families. Approximately 727 children participated in these classes. 18 martial arts students tested and progressed to the next level.
preschool - this is an affordable early childhood education program for children 2 1/2 to 6 years old. The program, which targets low to middle income families, prepares children for kindergarten by giving them the opportunity to play and grow with their peers; to explore creative materials; and to experience books, music, art, and the use of computers. The school provides indoor and outdoor play areas, daily exercise activities, science projects, field trips, and crafts. Scholarship assistance
women's health - this is a program which encourages and provides an opportunity for women who are in need to take care of their health by empowering them with a means to receive free mammograms and pap tests. This program is for women of all ages who have low incomes and no insurance. In 2010, 28 women in need received mammograms and/or pap tests at no charge to them.
