Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Young Warriors is a group-mentoring program for boys who could benefit from positive male role models and rewarding peer-to-peer relationships. We teach, guide and inspire these young men and help them to know that they absolutely have what it takes to become excellent in life – educationally, physically, spiritually and socially, as they become great men, fathers and leaders.
Target demographics: Fatherless boys 10-18, Single Mothers and/or the caregivers of these young men.
Geographic areas served: Los Angeles, CA
Programs: Young warriors assist around 60 boys from three different schools at two separate school sites. In addition, young warriors was able to assist their single mother/caregivers with parent education and workshops.
