Causes: Amateur Sports, Sports

Mission: Provide a safe environment for recreational and competitive sports of basketball to athletes 2nd - 12th grades in our local community. Participants are offered after school services including homework assistance, study sessions, nutritional guidance, and fundamental and skills development in the sports of basketball which encourages leadership and sportsmanship. Services are 100% offered by parents and local volunteers within our community. Participants are afforded the opportunity to compete at the local, state-wide and national levels while positioning themselves for the opportunity for athletic/educational scholarship. 100% graduation rate since 2009.

Programs: 2017 florida amateur athletic union (aau) state championship - 6th grade - 2nd place; 11th grade state champions; aau nationals 8th grade 4th place; bayou classic nationals 11th grade - 3rd place; 3 seniors (class of 2018) receive full athletic and academic scholarships to colleges such as shaw university and florida state college of jacksonville. Currently, we have 52 alumni players who are on college basketball scholarships across the usa and seven alumni were nominated as part of the selection process for mcdonald's all-american basketball team and the several all-american team rosters; currently top class of 2017 player in the country participating on the usa u18 team in chile. Our basketball program has earned a reputation for fielding a highly competitive, very talented, and well coached team throughout the state of florida and across the united states. These participants have demonstrated an unbelievable work ethic that has prepared them for the transition to the next level and beyond.
