Mission: Many Yosemite visitors "give back" through The Yosemite Fund for the inspiration and renewal they have experienced in Yosemite National Park. Their gifts for park projects ensure that visitors now and in future generations will continue to learn a lasting love of nature from this one-of-a-kind place. The Fund has committed over $35 million to park improvements and completed more than 200 projects since 1988.
Programs: The Yosemite Fund's projects are carefully selected to help preserve and protect Yosemite National Park, as well as to enhance the visitor's experience. The Fund's main areas of interest include:
-- Habitat restoration
-- Trail repair and access
-- Scientific research
-- Wildlife management
-- Cultural and historic preservation
-- Visitor services and education
