Mission: The mission of the society is to enrich the area's quality of life by providing educational, entertainment, recreational, agricultural, commercial and social activities for the benefit of the residents and business of york county.
Programs: The organization conducts an annual agricultural fair for ten days beginning the first friday after labor day and closing on the sunday of the second weekend. Attendance during the 2017 fair was 565,483.
