Causes: Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services
Mission: We provide early intervention services in a safe environment to nurture healthy and resilient children, strengthen parents and preserve families.
Results: Key measures of the Yolo Crisis Nursery’s impact in 2023/2024 include: 2,855 Safe Stays for at-risk children 5,526 Care Packages distributed to the community 1,160 Children were served last year by the Nursery Growth in every Yolo Crisis Nursery Program

Programs: The Nursery was founded in 2001 as a child-abuse prevention program. Protecting children is at the heart of what we do, and we want to do more. We help kids thrive and become resilient in the face of traumatic experiences. We fulfill our mission and achieve our vision through the Nursery’s signature programs: Crisis Overnight and Respite Care, Wraparound Services for Families, and Specialized Infant Day Care and Preschool.
