Programs: Habitat for humanity builds and finances homes for people who would not otherwise be able to experience home ownership. This chapter of habitat for humanity has completed 8 homes in yolo county. The brush with kindness program provides critical exterior home repairs to homeowners who meet the low-income requirements established by habitat international. Generally, these people are senior citizens and/or people with disabilities that live on a fixed income. This chapter has completed 3 major repair projects in yolo county.
