Yesh Tikvah is a great organization dedicated to helping those in crisis who have nowhere else to turn. The work that is done there is incredible and I feel so honored to be able to be a part of it. Thinking that even if just one person is helped makes all their work worthwhile. Yesh Tikvah truly makes a difference for so many people, and I am so proud and grateful to be a part of that mission. The board and staff are the kindest and most supportive group of people who truly care about others.
I oversee a financial literacy program at Jewish Family Service Assoc. of Cleveland. It is distressing to review household budgets, knowing that mental health counseling is a self- identified need - yet, without insurance, this counseling truly is cost prohibitive. As financial literacy is 80% emotional/ 20% intellectual, counseling can play a key role in accelerating financial self sufficiency, reducing anxiety, stress, and shame and improving family dynamics.
Enter Yesh Tikvah!
Real Situation: A middle income family with a high medical insurance deductible had incurred significant debt. Husband and wife disagreed on family finances; tension was acute. Yesh Tikvah provided funding for individual counseling (client has 25% co-pay) and the "real" emotional money issues are being addressed. Our meetings are more productive. Husband and wife have improved communication; overall family stress is declining. Financial self sufficiency goals are now possible.
Thank you Yesh Tikvah!
Dear Rabbi Joseph,
To say thank you is an understatement to express the gratitude I have for all the help that you have done for me and my family. It is such a good feeling when someone in need is meeting with a person they feel really truly cares about there situation . That is my experience when I have spoken and dealt with Rabbi Joseph on numerous occasions . He gave me a genuine listening ear .Directed me in what I should do and helped me adress my needs for myself and my family . I feel so grateful for all that you do . You and your organization are a gift to the people that need it . May you continue to be successful in all that you do .
Yesh Tikvah has been a life saver for some of my clients. Through this organization they are able to get mental health care that would otherwise be unavailable. They have been able to get the support they need to be happier and calmer in their own lives and better parents to their children. I don't know where they would be without Yesh Tikvah.

As someone who has collaborated with numerous community activists, I am extremely impressed with the dedication and integrity of Rabbi Joseph and his wonderful charity, Yesh Tikva. By helping subsidize mental health treatment, they are filling a void in the community that has never been addressed before. They do lifesaving work, literally revolutionizing individuals, families and ultimately generations. I wish Rabbi Joseph the utmost success in all of his benevolent endeavors.

No words can possibly express my thanks I have to this special organization. I had tremendous anxiety which was affecting my marriage and my children. I really felt that I needed therapy but couldn't afford it. I then heard about yeish tikvah and contacted them right away. My therapist gave me a lot of skills which has changed me as a wife and mother. I wouldn't be where I am today without they're help! It is a truly amazing organization that literally saved my life!
I have heard from professional therapists and individuals utilizing the services how much of a difference the help from Yesh Tikvah makes. We are proud to support the organization!
I am so grateful that Yesh Tikvah gives many of my clients the opportunity to get much needed support. Our health care system leaves a lot of people stuck between a rock and a hard place, sometimes with dire consequences. Yesh Tikvah helps fill in the gap for some families, making a tremendous difference in allowing them to access quality services.
THERE IS HOPE!
The National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Cleveland (NAMI GC) proudly supports the mission, values and vision of Yesh Tikvah. The organization provides a very unique and necessary service in the Jewish community of Cleveland, directly providing financial assistance for those in need of psychotherapy and related services. In May of this year, Yesh Tikvah (which means “there is hope”) was presented with NAMI’s Cultural Competence in Mental Health Award for outstanding service in 2016. Recently they began a program for children and adolescents, directly subsidizing the cost for counseling and related psychological services such as testing. Rabbi Joseph, who founded Yesh Tikvah in 2012 has carefully and skillfully brought together resources from our community to create an organization that fills a tremendous gap, and allows those who may never have had an opportunity to seek help, to access care.
At NAMI, we understand that “access to care” leads the list of problems in the mental health system and thee most difficult obstacle for individuals and families seeking help; Yesh Tikvah removes that barrier. We are grateful to Rabbi Joseph and Yesh Tikvah for the work they do, and look forward to continuing our work together.

Yesh Tivkah offers a sensitive and confidential path to providing mental health treatment in the orthodox community. It encourages adults (now children and teens, as well) to pursue and obtain the treatment from an appropriate provider. Yesh Tivkah has opened the door to much needed mental health treatment for members of our community.
Yesh Tikva was a place to turn when challenged feeling helpless and hopeless. They gave both - the help and the hope that the situation can and will change with support. They are sensitive to the needs of the individual and offer their help without making them feel "needy" giving them the feeling they are not alone. They gave with dignity and as a result made the process so positive in every way.
Yesh Tikvah is an amazing resource for our community! Rabbi Joseph is easy to work with, he is always very responsive and helpful! Thank you for being here for us!
Yesh Tivkvah works tirelessly to provide assistance to as many families as he can. They recognize the tremendous need in our community and won't stop until the work is done.
This is a very unique organization. It helps individuals who need counseling receive what they need from the psychologists and social workers most suited to their needs. As a therapist I have been able to provide individual and marital counseling to those that would not have benefited from these services without the financial assistance of this incredible organization. We are so fortunate in Cleveland to offer this to our orthodox Jewish community. I have not come across another organization of this nature in any other city.
Yesh Tikvah is respected because of their dedication to privacy and discression. Rabbi Joseph is unique in his 24 hour drive to help everyone. This happens not only during business hours, but all hours.
Yesh Tikvah really saved me. I needed help with some therapy and had no way to afford it. They were so easy to work with, they helped me with getting the therapy i needed and it worked wonders. I hope to be able to support them personally in the future. I highly recommend donating to help others like me.
The support I receive from yesh tikvah has allowed me and my family to receive much needed counseling from expert therapists.
We would never be able to access this help without yesh tikvah.
Our community is extremely fortunate to have such an organization.
Yesh tikvah literally builds lives and I know that whatever I share with rabbi Joseph will be kept confidential and handled professionally.
Tremendous thanks to rabbi Joseph and all those who make this happen!
As a "client" who uses Yesh Tikvah's services, I can say this organization does amazing work.
As many people recognize, quite often those who are most in need of a mental health intervention don't have the financial means to pay for those services for the very same reasons that they require them to begin with; their mental health issues may severely hinder their ability to secure and maintain gainful employment. The result of this is often that those most in need of therapy are unable to pay for said therapy, and a viscious cycle ensues - one where the person's mental health continues untreated and thus deteriorates, even further preventing their ability to hold a steady job, leaving him or her ever more impossibly unable to climb out of their financial woes to a point where they can afford the therapy they so desperately need. The end result looks devastating.
I was on this path myself, and if I had not heard about the great work being done by Yesh Tikvah I shudder to think how much further my downward spiral would have continued. This is an amazing and (unfortunately) necessary organization, and I am confident that the lives of those whom YT have helped would presently be impossibly bleak if it were not for their aid. I would even go so far as to say Yesh Tikvah has literally saved hundreds (thousands?) of lives.
