I was involved with this Foundation for 16 years and was always impressed by its devotion to the hospital and its employees. Their dedication helped to provide invaluable services to the community through the Breast Care Center, Pendleton Center, James Family Heart Center, Partners for Healthy Students program, and more. As a rural community, this was extremely important. Their goal was to enable residents to stay in our community for medical services vs traveling 2 hrs for much-needed care. If you are ever looking for a worthy cause, the YRMC Foundation is just that. Caring, supportive and good stewards of your consideration.
For the past 5 years I have worked with the YRMC Foundation raising money for the Baskin Breast Care Center via an annual fundraiser entitled, "Trails 4 Tatas". The presidents of the Summit 4x4 Club and Girls Tribe (Victor Torres and Laurie Cwikla) head up this fundraiser and work very closely with the Foundation all year long. They are an exceptional group of individuals who are very caring and make it so easy for us to raise money for them. They keep us up to date on what is happening with the Breast Care Center, what the money we raise is being used for how our efforts are helping those individuals going through treatment for breast cancer. Because of our numerous community fundraisers throughout the year, we have talked to many individuals that have been treated at the Baskin Breast Care Center and all we ever hear is what wonderful experiences they had during their treatment. Victor and I both are very proud and honored to be associated with such an amazing organization. This year was our highest grossing fundraiser to date and we look forward to an even better year in 2025. John, Angi, Jeanette and Kate are amazing human beings they are doing great things to help those in need of support while going through breast cancer treatment. Laurie Cwikla
I have many friends who are breast cancer survivors and each received their treatment at YRMC. I lead a group of women to support the YRMC Foundation through a fashion show the past two years. This year our fashion show alone raised $30,000+ for the Foundation. The key Foundation employees attended our fashion show and represented the Foundation by supplying participants not only verbal information but provided written literature as well. The ease of donating funds to the Foundation was handled easily by their employees. We also took advantage of the option to earmark where the funds were directed within the organization. Not only does the Foundation support breast cancer but also Alzheimer's victims and their families.
Hello, my name is Tony Ferrulli and I live in Prescott Lakes, Prescott, AZ. My wife and I moved to Prescott 13 years ago. About eight years ago I joined our YRMC Board of Directors and two months ago I joined our YRMC Foundation Board. I feel so very fortunate to be a part of a caring group of professional's that have the communities best interest at heart. Our two Boards work well together in coordinating programs that address community health needs. We also have activities and events that assist in supporting our Foundation and its special projects.
I"m blessed to be a member of these two hospital Boards and a part in supporting our community health needs. Please help support of Foundation, anything helps. Tony
We needed a piano in the Main Lobby of the hospital on East Campus that Volunteers could play for the patients, visitors and staff. The soothing music is a comfort to hurting patients and visitors and a stress reliever for the staff. With the donated funds that the YRMC Foundation receives, it made this possible. A hour after I made a request for the piano, I received a delivery date.
Thank You YRMC Foundation for helping to make a visit to our hospital a more pleasurable experience.
As a long time donor and supporter of YRMC Foundation, the staff has gone above and beyond in cultivating a relationship, including us in foundation events. The wealth of projects that the foundation supports provide many different avenues for us to give and programs to support. I am so thankful for their wonderful staff who routinely make contact and steward our giving relationship with the hospital.
Every year, Prescott Newspapers work with the Foundation to get the word out about breast cancer awareness in our community. We publish a Pink Pages section every October where we highlight survivor stories from local residents as well as articles the Foundation supplies to educate the community about this important issue. A portion of our ad sales is donated to the foundation each year to help them with this cause. They have been a delight to work with over the years and are a great partner!
YRMC Foundation helps our local community through their various programs. For the last eight years or so, I have worked closely with the manager of philanthropy to raise funds for the benefit of breast cancer patients at the Baskin Breast Care Center at YRMC. Through the foundation, the center is able to assist patients with education, free mammograms, transportation to and from appointments, and other important benefits that help ease the stress of having to cope with the illness of breast cancer. Supporting organizations as such is important as they play an important role in helping save lives.

My wife and I wanted to make a difference in supporting the continuing improvement of health services for our Prescott area residents. We contacted the YRMC Foundation team of John , Kate and Angi. They helped us understand some of innovated programs at YRMC. offered in the Baskin Breast Cancer Care Center, the excellent James Family Heart Center selected by "Consumers Report" as in the top ten in the USA and now the new Cunningham Center for Compassionate Aging.
We got excited about Compassionate Aging Center programs to keep aging people well both mentally and physically well as part of a Age Friendly Medical Center. They explained the vision for the future and how 100% of our donation goes to what we want to support.
They helped us understand our options in estate planning and how we can make a difference with a donation right away. The YRMC Foundation team was informative, patient and professional.
All donations stay in our community even though YRMC is part of multi-Hospital system.
We understand that innovation and new programs will depend on donors who care and that our donation can inspire others. John, Angi and Kate live the Foundation mission of nurturing scared relationship by helping us to get in touch with our passion in helping others.
I am pleased to express my wholehearted support for the YRMC Foundation as both a donor and a patron of their invaluable services. From the moment patients enter the facility, they are met with a warm and welcoming environment, where dedicated healthcare professionals prioritize their needs. I've witnessed firsthand how the Foundation's initiatives contribute to state-of-the-art medical technology, patient education, and community health programs.
