Mission: Yaseen Foundation is the Muslim Community Association (MCA) of the Peninsula. It was founded in 1999 to provide Islamic activities and services in the San Francisco Peninsula area. The foundation is seeking to establish several Islamic institutions to serve the needs of the local Muslim community, Islam and larger community of the Peninsula. The foundation is concerned with social, educational and civic programs that serves Muslims and the larger community in a way the present the truth about Islam and Muslims in practice.
Programs: Current activities and programs include: 1- Running the Muslim Community Center of the Peninsula. The first integrated religous, social, educational, interfaith and civic center in the area.
2- Running a weekend school (120 students) teaching children Islamic and Arabic education.
3- Monthly family function that promotes brotherhood, strengthens family values and develops the sense of community.
4- Regular Family and Women Development programs.
5- Youth Club a forum for young Muslims to learn Islam and network with their peers.
6- Parent Group "pre-school" for 2-5 years old that deals with early childhood education and development.
