The entire team at YANA are fierce and tireless in their pursuit to help young mothers connect and not feel alone. I have loved watching them show up at every networking and fundraising event. As Donna Summer would say, Nikki and her team WORK HARD FOR THE MONEY and only to turn and use it for good! What cause could be as important as saving the lives of moms and their families?
Collaborating with the YANA team and connecting with the families that they serve has been a highlight of the last 12 months. Nikki and Savannah are eager to go above and beyond to meet the needs of this community. As a specialist in maternal and pediatric mental health and sleep, it's a privilege to partner with this non-profit group.
YANA creates a safe space where moms feel seen, heard, and never alone. Whether it’s a comforting word, a helping hand, or a reminder that they are doing an amazing job, YANA embodies the true spirit of community and love. Their impact is immeasurable—turning moments of doubt into confidence and isolation into connection. Every new mom deserves a YANA in her life!
YANA is a fantastic non-profit. It provides wrap-around support for moms, connecting them with a community of other moms at the same stage and experienced moms as mentors. We are tackling postpartum and mental health challenges head-on. YANA is making a difference, one mom at a time. As part of the program, no mom feels alone but surrounded by other moms who "get it." As a volunteer, I couldn't be more proud to be a part of this organization and its smart, strategic, compassionate team. I personally am fulfilled volunteering and supporting the mission. It's good for the soul. We're helping new moms cope, navigate their new mama-hood journey (which can be crazy!), and thrive.
Wow! YANA has filled a void that was in desperate need of filling. This incredible non-profit organization provides a peer support system for local Mom's who just gave birth. It makes sure Mom's don't feel alone and that they always know that someone is there for them when the going gets tough (which it will in motherhood!). This program should be in EVERY HOSPITAL nationwide. Families truly do need this service and support. THANK YOU YANA for making a HUGE difference in the community!
