Mission: Formerly low-income elderly housing; in process of dissolution following sale of building and collection of proceeds.
Programs: Volunteer operations, recruiting and finance in africa done by wycliffe associates, inc. Per the bylaws, upon liquidation of wycliffe gardens, inc, the residual assets become the property of wycliffe associates. Upon sale of the building, funds were initially sent to wycliffe associates for safe-keeping and investment and were held in a restricted account. Since wycliffe gardens was unable to be immediately liquidated on the sale due to the presence of a 12-month $12,000,000 note, and in recognition of the intent to ultimately be liquidated, incremental amounts of funds from the restricted account were released to wycliffe associates. The $12m note was replaced in 2009 by a $2m note, and this was paid off in 2010 and the corporation dissolved. All funds have been disbursed to wycliffe associates.
