My husband recently became a wounded warrior after a work accident on his last deployment. It has been a hard time adjusting for him and our family, Wounded Warrior Support Network came in and took expenses for my family to go to Disneyland and the San Diego Zoo, it helped tremendously seeing our kids enjoy this time and just relax, after months of appointments and uncertainty. I WILL FOREVER BE IN DEBT TO THIS ORGANIZATION.

Always such an great experience to be able to bring my children to the SD Padres games through this incredible organization. We were able to have suite sitting and dinner while we watched the game, we even had the Padres mascot come in and take pictures with the kids and hand out souvenirs. My children where over the moon. Once again THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

WWSN has been life changing for our family. My husband was able to get together with other wounded vets during different gatherings and sports games to help him connect with other people he could relate to. It has also helped our family meet other families who can relate to what we’re going through. The hardest thing for a wounded vet and their family is to find a balance between their wounds and their sense of purpose. This organization has helped my husband to find something he enjoys. It is only because of WWSN that he discovered woodworking helped him create beautiful things with his hands and soothe his busy mind. We are truly grateful for everything.

Wounded Warrior Support Network has been more than great about providing events and opportunities for vets and military personnel to stay connected and keeping up moral. I have thoroughly enjoyed some of the connecting vets with vets outings. Made some good friends from them. A solid Non-profit. Petty Officer Mathison, US Navy

I am a former Marine and have been a beneficiary of the Wounded Warrior Support Network programs. I have to say that this organization has gone above and beyond to help out vet’s in multiple capacities and especially when in great need. From morale welfare to career transition to helping families keep food on the table, Wounded Warrior Support Network has been there consistently for 16 years to be of support to our Veterans and Military & families at large. Beverly Trout, their CEO has a heart of gold and has done more for military families than many of the Military/ Family advocacy organizations that exist on base. I wouldn’t be able to thank her enough for helping me transition from the Marine Corps into a civilian career in radio broadcast. Thank you Wounded Warrior Support Network. My gratitude runs deep! The wounded warrior support network is an amazing group. They truly go above and beyond to support our veterans and their families at home. Not only by setting up fun events for vets, they also help the families of the vets with things such as child care and cooking meals. They really strive to take a load off of the families of our military, by assisting in base as well as off of it. They treat the human side of things and my experiences with them were truly humbling and eye opening, as they really take the support in their name seriously.

The founder of this charity has gone to lengths above and beyond I’ve seen other charities and other companies do. I would hope many charities would aspire to act in the same manner as this one. I have learned a tremendous amount from her not only on how to be better professionally but in my personal life as well. She’s a savior.

The Wounded Warrior Support Network continues to provide a phenomenal service for the men and women of the armed forces in the San Diego area and beyond. Beverly Trout is an amazing woman who has dedicated her life to helping those who have served their country. This nonprofit organization honors the men and women of the US military by bringing their families together, sometimes across the country. This organization allows everyone to be themselves and to participate in fun activities, such as barbeques, baseball games and various outings to amusement parks. Beverly hosts the events, she cooks the meals, she engages with everyone, making them feel safe and at home. It's all about togetherness, love and growth. The most important aspect of this nonprofit is the dedication and focus to providing jobs for the men and women who have served in the military and are suffering from PTSD. Beverly fights for them. Constantly pursuing new opportunities and possibilities for these brave men and women. She helps with the applications, the interviews, the coordinating and scheduling. She finds them work and helps to save them, as they have saved so many. This nonprofit is worthy of every award, but the greatest award they have already earned...the health and happiness of so many military families.

This is a very impactful organization, bringing together many different groups and caring people towards the goal of supporting our warriors. I have worked with this organization since the beginning and it was founded on making an actual difference in the community by doing the fundamentals, food, events, and creating community. Every dollar is well spent, and every moment they foster is a valuable one.

It comes down to grit. The willingness to pound pavement and get it done. Wounded Warrior Support Network does not wait for anyone to make a difference, together, between their volunteers and the leadership in Beverly, real things have happened. Families brought together, meals delivered, real positive impacts on real people. It is truly remarkable what this organization gets done.

I have witnessed firsthand how the Wounded Warrior Support Network has tirelessly strived to improve the lives of our military men, women, and there families. In particular Beverly Trout and her team have provided our heroes with meals, takes them to baseball games, makes sure they have Christmas presents for there kids, and assists in-helping them to find meaningful work. This is hard work that needs to be done and supported. The Wounded Warrior Support Network is simply the best at looking out for our men and women in uniform.

Working with the Wounded Warrior Support Network has been rewarding on so many levels. Witnessing first hand the level of commitment that provides everything from basic necessities, entertaining outings, and genuine concern and love for the entire families of our brave Warriors. Not to mention that every penny of every donation goes to support these hero's. The attached video is an example of how the WWSN reaches beyond the Warriors themselves and into hearts and souls of their families. The WWSN made one of our Warriors daughters dream come true by getting her the opportunity to perform her favorite song (Disney's "Frozen" of course) in a professional recording studio. Needless to say Mom and Dad were very proud.

Beverly trout and the Wounded Warrior Support Network has been consistent in assisting my family and I during my recovery process for several years. I was severely injured in Baghdad, Iraq and sustained significant injuries during combat to include a TBI, PTSD and severe trauma to my rt leg which disabled me for life. I met Beverly on my Birthday (July 4th) with my father as she provided my father and I tickets to see a MLB game in San Diego together for the first time as father and son. I am forever grateful for that. She has been in our lives ever since and has assisted my family with numerous things ranging from family outings to food assistance programs to golf tournaments to name a few. I adore Beverly trout and the WWSN for all of the selfless acts of kindness and thoughtful yet strategic events and/or assistance for us Warriors.

Bev over at Wounded Warrior Support Network (WWSN) is a literal angel on earth. This organization has done so much for myself, my family and hundreds of other Marines and their families. Everything from commissary gift cards to get food to gas cards to help us get to medical appointments. She invites wounded veterans to professional sports games and she also does what I think is the most special event she plans, the Christmas luncheon. She’ll choose veterans with children, get their wish lists and purchase just about everything! She had a crew of helpers to wrap gifts and coordinate the luncheon. Once there, veterans and their families bond with other families, enjoying a wonderful meal followed by a special guest. The children get to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus! I’ve had the privilege of knowing her for the last 5 years since a I was a recovering service member at Wounded Warrior Bn. She has a heart of gold!

I have been invited to and attended Multiple events with Wounded Warrior Support Network and the most memorable with the Padre Game. Through the generosity of this organization I was able to bring my Family of 5 to attend the event. It can get very expensive taking out the whole family and experience new thing with them and I was able to show my children what a Major league baseball game was like. It was great to see my wife speaking other military spouses and sharing stories, my children were running around with our military family kids as well. It has been several months since the game and my family still mentions the great time they have had. I am great full to the Wounded Warrior Support Network for creating these opportunities for veterans together and reconnect with one another.

Wounded Warrior support network, has gone out of their way to help me every single time I've ever needed it. At the drop of a hat she was willing, and able to help me get to a funeral for one of my marines who had fallen. They have also helped on numerous occasions with friends in dire need. The organization does a wonderful Christmas outreach for active duty wounded or veteran members that can't afford to give their children Christmas the way they deserve. This is a selfless all volunteer organization that takes time out of their very busy schedules to help people for no other reason than the joy of helping people. Beverly Trout, leading the Wounded Warrior Support Network has always gone above and beyond in support of our military and their families. She is a role model for anyone wanting to provide resources to our troops. Beverly is not satisfied with just OK or a regular meal whether its for a pre-deployment dinner or just breakfast. She always makes our troops feel like family and takes care fo them like family.

I've had the opportunity to see the The Wounded Warrior Support Network in action in the community. It's not just about saving lives but helping the Wounded Warriors transition to new ones. They have fun, and they get to experience things they might not have if they weren't a part of the support network. That’s probably the biggest difference. It’s a very different non-profit. If you’re a business, they will implement whatever you want to do. If you’re a Wounded Warrior, it’s personal support all the way.

WWSN has been an essential part of transition and healing for our family. Bev has gone above and beyond and has saved us at our lowest point when we were struggling to make ends meet and living off a third of what we needed to survive. She has supports us through retirement, transition and even now by creating connections between employers and allowing us to help others as well.

When people think about what they can do as one person to make a difference in this world, Bev and WWSN shows you just how much one person can do to to make that possible. She has touched so many lives to make a difference for these Wounded Warriors and their families. She does it well, she does it with heart and she does it for the cause.

I have known Beverly and worked with her in the "For Profit" sector years ago when she was starting to develop her philanthropic programs. She left that world and has developed her Wounded Warrior Support Network with one goal, helping the warriors. Everything she does goes to benefit the warriors. I have seen her work tirelessly from fundraising, communicating with the warriors, arranging special occasions including family reunions and preparing home cooked meals, all with the goal of making sure our Hero's know someone cares about them and is appreciative of what they have done for their country. If you are looking for a charity where the funds directly benefit the recipients, look no further. THIS charity is making a difference in patriots lives who have given their all.

If you are searching for a legitimate nonprofit where 100% of donations go to the cause, then you have found it.
I researched the Wounded Warrior Support Network and verified legitimacy with the IRS and the Telecommunication Company I am employed with. I then spoke with the founder.
I learned of the many causes they do, and my favorite being the home cooked meals provided at various functions.
Growing up in small town America this cause is close to my heart. Mainly because of the secret ingredient used in preparation.
The founder has genuine compassion and empathy for those in need. What better way to tell someone you are wanted by serving them unconditionally.

Beverly Trout and the Wounded Warrior Support Network do a tremendous job with local wounded warriors and their families. Beverly works mostly with soldiers that are stationed in and around San Diego, California. However, she has been involved with military bases in other states as well. The Wounded Warrior Support Network is transparent, unlike many other Wounded Warrior Non-Profits throughout the country. When someone donates to the WWSN they can be assured that their generosity is going straight to the individuals who need assistance. Beverly helps these recovering heroes in many ways. She plans family reunions, often times bringing people together from all over the country. She sponsors various outings, such as professional sports games, theme parks and picnics. Beverly spends her own time cooking homemade meals every week for which she personally serves 10-200 wounded warriors at Camp Pendleton MCAS. The WWSN strives to help these damaged soldiers to transition back to civilian reality by allowing them opportunities to be with the ones they love and experience fun activities. The program is very social and interactive. Beverly gets to know these individuals on a personal level and becomes a part of their families. This builds trust and respect and allows Beverly access into their lives. This relationship alongside the various activities and events that she sponsors helps the wounded warriors to find peace and confidence while transitioning back to a normal life. Perhaps the greatest benefit the WWSN offers these brave men and women, is the ability to find careers after the military. Beverly works with local companies and provides meetings and interactive appointments where the soldiers can become educated on various occupations that are available to them after their military time is done. This a great opportunity for these soldiers to discover how to make a life for them and their families. Beverly Trout is an amazing woman and what she has accomplished by founding the Wounded Warrior Support Network is exceptional. I am truly proud to be associated with Beverly and the WWSN. With an average of 22 wounded warriors with Post Traumatic Stress committing suicide each day, the WWSN helps to save lives. This is a testament to Beverly's hard work, dedication and passion to help others.
