I was blessed to be able to take part in a bottle school build trip in Guatemala in February of 2019. It was an amazing trip. Well organized, safe, fun, and most of all fulfilling. It felt great to learn about the educational needs of the region, experience their stories, and know you get to help meet that need together with the people who live there. Worldventures foundation has created an incredible partnership with Hug it Forward and the good they are doing in Guatemala is second to none.

One of the best and most unforgettable trips of my life was taken with WV Foundation. It was a trip to Peru where we met with the wonderful Huilloc community in the Andes Mountains. They welcomed us with open arms and we danced and ate together. Their hospitality was unmatched. The following day we helped move then make mud bricks to be used for a new school. It was an incredible and fulfilling experience I'll never forget.

We had the best tour guides ever and checked multiple things off our bucket list - Machu Picchu, Sacsayhuaman, Sacred Valley of the Incas, Rainbow Mountains, etc. Huge bonus is that we didn't have to do the planning (with the exception of one excursion we added on)! What a trip!

I'm grateful to WV Foundation as this trip probably would not have happened anytime soon if my husband and I were planning and paying for it solo...

I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of helping to building a school with Hug It Forward in Guatemala. It was my first time ever doing something like this and wow what a life changing experience! I got to learn so much about the culture and experiences they have gone through as a country. You completely humble yourself, I learned to open my heart and receive love. I learned to appreciate everything I am blessed with at home as they don’t have much but still live a happy life with endless love, smiles and laughter! I can not wait to go back and bring my 19 year old daughter to experience this with me! Thank you WV Foundation for this opportunity!

We painted a school in Pretoria and engaged the kids in fun activities. I was so happy I did because I have always wanted to help the vulnerable in the society and support them with my little effort and world ventures foundation gave me the opportunity for one of my passions to come to pass. For this I say a big thank you to world ventures foundation, I will surely do this over and over again. Overall, kids were happy, school was beautiful again and I was happy to assist.

Thanks to WVF my mother & I have worked on service projects in Nepal & Guatemala, and my dad and I have served in Victoria Falls - all projects to do with betterment of childrens welfare so it was highly fulfilling. Also meeting fellow-volunteers has creates lifelong friendships, so much so we are in touch and even meet each other around the world!! Its allowed us to explore different parts of the world but also serve in our own back yard which has been great, especially in times of disasters etc etc.

often we do not realize how much wealth in our life can come in helping those in need. I attended three WV Foundation events! I experienced moments of great emotions among the children of the orphanage in Bucharest, in the family home of Florence, and then again in Dublin and in a few days more in France! I love the Foundation, i can help others easyer! Thank you!

The Worldventures Foundation changed not only my life, but the lives of so many children in the villages of Guatemala. I went on a Vouluntour trip to Guatemala in March 2019 to build a bottle school for those kiddos less fortunate in the village of Flor De Paraxcha. I'm a preschool teacher so children have a special place in my heart. Education is one of the things most children in America take for granted these days and the fact that most Guatemalan children don't even have a school to get the opportunity to learn broke my heart. My group started the foundation part of school #127!!! That's not even the best part. The entire school was built from trash! There is very little waste management in Guatemala so every "bottle school" is built from plastic coke, gatorade, etc bottles and stuffed with trash and they become as hard as bricks. Each individual bottle takes 3 HOURS to stuff. The WorldVentures foundation somehow figured out a way to COMBINE both issues in Guatemala regarding their lack of education and waste management. And that's only one of the many Voluntour trips they offer. And SOPHIA STOLLER, the president of the Worldventures Foundation was ON this trip with my family and I. She was so awesome, there are pictures of us below but I didn't even know who she was until the very last day. I am so humbled and my life has forever changed thanks to the WorldVentures foundation. I can't wait to change more childrens lives in February 2020!

I have been on 3 voluntour trips where we have given back to communities in other countries & I have another one planned in November to Thailand. The rewards are phenomenal that you receive when participating in one of these. Each one has been affiliated with helping children in the areas we have been in. The organization of it all has been outstanding. They are a great foundation that truly have a heart to serve.

I went on my first Voluntour trip I June 2013 with HugifForward. I was blown away with the experience. I booked the next voluntour trip available. From there, I became a regular group leader and have been going back to Guatemala on a regular basis. The quality experience has been worth every penny I have spent over the years. Thanks to the WVfoundation my mission and passion for serving is what I live for. I am so grateful for what the WVfoundation has done to inspire me.

On April 1st, 2014 a good friend of my wife Alicia and I,
shared a video with us from the Worldventure Foundation of a school being built out of bottles in a remote village in Guatemala.
While our heart strings were of course immediately tugged upon, in the end it was our friend's contagious and exuberant passion that fueled our desire to go on one of these volunteer trips.
This friend who has since become like family, is a deliriously delightful and extraordinary woman, whom we'd quickly discover is impossible to explain or edify without the use of several adjectives; and goes by the fitting name of Hollie Hart.

Hollie, (a.k.a. Holita) had not only been on several volunteer trips, she was also hosting them at the time. And we were determined to do whatever it takes to get ourselves to Guatemala and share in a bottle school volunteer experience with her.
Unfortunately, life often finds a way of making your biggest dreams low in priority.

It took us 5 years of talking, wanting and wishing we could make it happen, before we realized we wasted 5 years making excuses on why we couldn't make it happen.
Then an opportunity presented itself again...and this time, we didn't let it pass us by. We worked hard, our children helped raise their own funds and in March 2019, my family and I finally headed down on a Worldventure Foundation voluntour trip to help build a bottle school in a remote village in Gautemala.

Without trying to sound cliche' the experience has completely changed our life. For me personally, I expected to see sadness and sorrow...instead, I witnessed joy and hope. I thought I would be the one contributing, the one to make a change in their life and instead...it was them who left a profound impact on me.

We came home with desire to do whatever we can to better our world. We have since volunteered, not only in our own community but also for the Foundation at events, concerts and fundraisers. I have even performed an entire stand-up comedy routine based on my own unique take (from a comic's perspective) of our bottle school trip adventures and what people can expect.
In hopes it will peak interest and expand awareness:
*on the simplicity of booking a WV voluntour trip.
*the value comparative to other mission trips.
*how well you are taken care of and your safety in a foreign country.
*and the rewarding, unforgettable experience these volunteer opportunities offer.

And in February 2020, my wife and I are already booked to head back to Guatemala to help build another bottle school.

I love the Worldventure Foundation and all the work they do. My hope is to spread the word and help more people volunteer and give back in whatever way they can. I am proud and feel privileged to have been a part of this experience and will continue my efforts with the foundation for years to come.

Thank you,

Tim Singer & Family
Colorado Springs, Colorado

I have included my comedy set about our trip and pics as well.

I have been on over 35 Voluntourism DreamTrips with the WorldVentures Foundation.
By combining giving back and experiencing new cultures, it has totally changed the way I look at life. We, as a Foundation, have been able to changes the lives of thousands of kids around the world. I have been fortunate enough to be able to give back to children and communities in Peru, Isreal, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Dominican Republic, Nepal, and Mexico. Heading to Bangkok for my 36th trip in November! These trips are life-changing!

This summer I interned for the WorldVentures Foundation, and was able to experience so many great memories with some of the kindest people I know! The Foundation made a DreamStation (Laptops for the students to use) donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Plano this summer and seeing the looks on every student’s face when recieving this donation was so beautiful and powerful. That donation is going to help so many students to be successful in school and be more advanced in the skills they will need in the future. It was such a wonderful experience being surrounded by people who really do have a heart to serve and they work so hard to help kids all over the world to have a better life.

Guatemala and the people there hold a special place in my heart and I’m beyond excited to return and continue to serve the Guatemalan people, the children and the communities alike.

My first project in 2018 lead me to San Martín, Jilotepeque, in the historic village of “El Rosario Canajel.” This Community was full of love and embraced us with open arms. We were the first foreigners to ever step foot in this village and to have the opportunity to play with the children, learn their culture of dance, make tortilla from scratch and have the students of the middle school perform a historical and traditional Mayan piece was absolutely breath taking.

I was fortunate and blessed to be able to return in the summer of 2019 for my second stint, in the community of Quisayà, Chimaltenango. This hard working community and the people within this village brought positivity, love and a willingness to serve and build upon their values as the foundation of these people are told through their stories and love of one another.

This is a complete mind, body and life changing experience and for those who truly want and have a heart to serve, i wish the same feeling i had, for all of you.

I’m forever joyous and blessed to be able to return for another opportunity to impact, lead and serve the Guatemalan people! Join us August 6th-12th 2020 to build another bottle school with us, impact a community, become a CHANGE AGENT and dive into a whole new level of self development in the process.

My hope is that this experience will bring you massive increase and clarity into your life both mentally and spiritually. I’d like for this to be something you can cherish and share with your family for the rest of your life. Let’s grow together and build something that will out live us and echo throughout eternity!

Hope to see you in GUATE!

❤️ Dre
