I have known about World Impact for many years and am acquainted with one of their missionaries. The thrust of this ministry is to move into neighborhoods, like Watts in Los Angeles, make disciples and then train them to start churches and reproduce. The folks who work with World Impact, and many cities in the US, live among the people and do not commute in and out. They become part of the culture. Through the donations of many, they have a camp where city kids can experience a country setting, swimming, horse back riding and counseling for life. Also, they have a college level training course for future pastors who can earn a degree in theology. Any donation to World Impact is a way of building God's kingdom.
