Mission: World Capoeira Arts Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing cultural education and building community that works to improve the lives of children in impoverished communities through sharing the art form of Capoeira. Our projects, which are scattered all over Brazil and the US, serve over 500 kids in the slums of Brazil, USA, Colombia and Africa the Capoeira Maculelê is a non-profit organization with headquarters in Londrina, Paraná, Brazil and the Atlanta, GA, USA. Our social projects—Projeto Maculelê, and others—are created to enrich the lives of at-risk children in poor neighborhoods throughout Brazil and in the USA. Many of these children suffer from malnutrition, lack of appropriate adult attention, and other conditions related to poverty. Without movitation and self-confidence building, these children often fall victim to the world of crime and drugs.
