Programs: The Worcester County Food Bank (WCFB) is a community-based non-profit organization that collects and distributes donated food and grocery product to its network of 138 Partner Agencies that have programs for feeding people including food pantries, community meal sites, and shelters. WCFB also advocates within the community and at the state and federal levels for systemic and sustainable solutions to the problem of hunger. WCFB collects and inspects perishable and non-perishable food. WCFB distributes enough food every week for 86,900 meals a week for our neighbors in need. The top four categories of food that we distribute are: meat, fish and poultry; fresh fruits and vegetables; canned and frozen vegetables; and non-meat proteins, including peanut butter, beans and eggs.
