I reacted out to to the owners and they insisted on coming to my house to view my rabbits and now I know why. I told them I had to many from the place I bought them from not knowing there sex caused for more rabbits. So I let them in my home. And told them that they could take them all but 4 because I wanted to keep them. After they would have been neutered and spayed. The two women then said that they had gotten donations for the 11 females to get spayed. They told me they would be returning them in two days after they recovered from surgery. Then they let me know they won’t be returning the rabbits that I wanted because they were giving to another rescue to get the money back they spent on getting them spayed even though they told me it was free because it was given to them from other rescues. So then they called animal control on me and said that the rest of my rabbits were in a dirty environment. And that my dogs were too which they had nothing to do with this at all. Also mind you none of my rabbits have ever been sick. I took care of my rabbits and feed and watered them everyday. Just because I don’t let them run freely around my house like they do doesn’t make me a bad pet owner. Not many people let there rabbits run around there house all day long without there supervision. I’m not sure we’re people who have 13 rabbits of there own at there house and one who’s sick deserve to act like there professional ‘s. When someone is reaching out for help with there rabbits and you call animal control on them that doesn’t make sense. If you would take care of your own rabbits then maybe they wouldn’t be sick.
