Mission: The Womxn Project Education Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that uses the arts to build a more just and equitable Rhode Island. The arts are a powerful tool for individual expression, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding, which we believe are essential for a healthy and democratic society. TWPEF combines the creativity and emotional impact of the arts with the strategies of activism to encourage civic engagement, advance social justice, and promote political progress.
Target demographics: artistic education, creative policy activism to get people interested and involved
Geographic areas served: all of Rhode Island
Programs: projections throughout the state around a range of issues, creating a petition quilt to have a lot of one on one meetings, performances and readings of policy, and interactive educational programming
