One of the most effective and rewarding ways to donate!! I choose to work with W4 because I know that every contribution makes a direct impact on the ground. We also often run "Donation Matching Operations" for projects, which means that W4 DOUBLES the donations it receives, allowing people to have an even bigger impact. I am so inspired by the work that the whole team at W4 does and how motivated they all are to make positive change.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Women’s WorldWide Web (W4) in Paris. W4’s work changes the lives of many women and girls across the world. W4’s approach of working with grassroots organizations is so impactful! I’m inspired everyday by Lindsey and her amazing team who put all their effort and heart into promoting girls' and women's rights by ensuring them access to education, healthcare, microfinance etc. Crowdfunding is the future of digital philanthropy and I look forward to seeing W4’s platform continue to grow.

W4 does an amazing job for women's empowerment worldwide. I like that W4 only works with grassroots partners around the world and also that 100% of individual donations go to the field! The crowdfunding platform system gives the opportunity to each one of us to give and change a women's life somewhere.

W4 is an innovative crowd funding platform dedicated to Women's empowerment.
I really liked the website: lots of pictures and nice articles. I then decided to make a donation mainly because 100% of individual donation are transferred directly to W4 Field partners and also it is very clear that W4 is conducting a thorough due diligence making sure our money is really going to the Field. Besides, W4 is dedicated to small innovative organizations which was really appealing to me. After my donation, i received impact reports, helping me to realize how my donation actually made a difference.
I can only encourage you to do the same!

All I truly want in this world is to leave it a better place. This is why The Women’s Worldwide Web is such an important part of who I am and what I do. One of the most powerful aspects is the way in which we aspire to harness our collaborative edge so that everyone who is part of our community can play a part in the virtuous cycle of weaving the women’s web.

One very touching and tangible way this manifested was through my 42nd birthday in 2012. Very much in the spirit of our collaborative edge, we sparked a virtuous cycle by connected W4, poetry and social marketing. I came up with ‘Births for my Birthday,’ a crowdfunding online-off line event to sponsor safe births through W4 Field Partner Birthing Project USA! What could be more poetic, activist and virtuous than ushering in safe births for both mothers and babies who would otherwise be at risk? By connecting my poetry family at The louderARTS Project with my social justice family at W4 and harnessing the connectivity of Facebook, I succeeded in partying like I have never done before. I matched the funds generated, and W4 matched the total matched funds! The results are amazing: 500 safe birth kits, that’s 500 louderBABIES!
There are endless ways, all inspiring and empowering that we can all weave the women's web, and it is our hope to form a collective of change-agents who propel the virtuous cycle.

W4 is thoughtful and innovative in its approach to improving the lives of women and girls. I was struck by its rare balance of fierce passion to empower women worldwide and its commitment to excellence and professionalism. I was so impressed with W4 after meeting Lindsey and the rest of the W4 team, that I immediately wanted to volunteer with W4. I have not been disappointed and am continually inspired by all of those who are part of the beautiful tapestry that W4 has helped weave together.

I first came across W4 in a job advert for a volunteer translator. A week or so later I was chatting to Founder and Managing Director Lindsey via skype about the possibility of collaborating as part of the editorial team for their wonderful blog VOICES. Now, a year and a half on, I recognise this as characteristic and one of the great strengths of the team at W4 - the ability to discern people's talents and to make space for them. It is this collaboration, across geographical, educational and financial barriers, which sets W4 apart and allows it to make such a wide-ranging and meaningful impact on the lives of women, girls - and men - throughout the world. Volunteers are drawn in by the infectious enthusiasm of Lindsey and her core team, and constant encouragement ensures them that their work is valued. It is a bottom-up, community-driven approach that mirrors the structure of W4s Field Partners in which we are all invited to invest: grass-roots organizations doing extraordinary work to bring about sustainable change within their communities. Have a look at http://www.w4.org/ to read the project descriptions or simply browse the blog VOICES for some thought-provoking articles and interviews.

I got to know about w4 after I posted one of my article link on facebook( http://poorvishrivastav.blogspot.in/2011/05/she-is-beautiful.html) and was contacted by Lindsey from w4 for publishing on the blog - VOICES. I discovered great work that w4 is doing alongside its field partners through this blog. It reached beyond boundaries of helping women and children in developing regions by creating employment opportunities and imparting education. A growing and consistent relationship with this organization has helped me to contribute to the progress of women in the best form.

I first found out about Women's WorldWide Web through a friend while I was completing my MA in London. From there I began to conduct interviews and write for W4. I met the Founder Lindsey and her team first through Skype and was heartened by the infectious energy and drive that she had for the organization. The fact that everyone was in it to work together and collaborate was also what drove me to continue writing for W4. When I met Lindsey and some of the team in person in New York later in the Fall I felt like I had known them forever and that we had very similar interests. That meeting confirmed my desire to further contribute to W4 wherever I was in the world. Now in Beijing I have been able to contribute stories and I look forward to chatting with Lindsey on Skype as I feel like she is a mentor to me! I have gained a lot of insight into the bottom-up approach of W4 and all that it does around the world. I'm glad to recommend W4 as a Great Non-Profit!

I first discovered W4 via Facebook and quickly got in touch with Lindsey and Brittany to gain hands on experience of Women's Rights Activism. The charity promotes women's empowerment, sustainability and collects hands-on accounts directly from women's rights activist across the globe. By utilising the power of the web, W4 succeeds in capturing the voices of women from various stratas of society and for that alone, I continue to whole-heartedly support such a great organisation.

I met Founder of W4 Lindsay in one of the Conference of Nobel Price Winner Mohammed Yunus in London and invited me to join her in Kingston College attending the Alumna gathering to cerebrate the Women's Day in 2008, all our discussions and conversations were about establishment of W4 and how I can be part of it, even if I'm coming from Africa(Tanzania). She wanted to reach almost every part of the world where they have initiatives and willingness to alliviate poverty and help girls and women. The whole W4 Management , Team and Donors work very hard in order to make this Institutions happened within short period of time. I met many people in different places in the world who had burning dreams and Vision but majority end up in vein. The Institution workedvery well and is well coordinated and organized by her communication channells with all field partners, in case information or data is needed. What amazed me is how new field partners are joining and they all have wonderful testimony of what they are doing in the locality. when we started I was thinking I am the only person from Africa but now we are many from Congo, Ghana, South Africa etc and I still believe the Team will reach every corner of this earth to support the initiatives of Girls and Women. Bravo W4 Management and her Stakeholders .

Lindsey used to shared her dreams and vision of creating such an organization while working with me with Grameen Bank, Bangladesh even couple of years before this wonderful organization got into a formal shape! I was optimistic about her dream of creating this type of org and eventually encouraged her for doing this. Fortunately, he invited me to be a part of this org. as a country coordinator and I gracefully grabbed this. Later I observed that this is growing faster than I imagined! And I hope that we would be able to create a poverty free world soon. Thanks Lindsey for being such a realistic visionary!!!!!!! Thanks Matin.

I was new to online giving before I came across W4. I like the fact that their partner organizations are local grassroots ones and I feel like my donation thus has the potential for a greater impact thanks to W4. I also enjoy their blog which is both informative and proposes concrete actions to its readers.

Bringing people together from all around the world, from all sorts of backgrounds, cultures and income levels, The Women's WorldWide Web (W4) is uniquely powerful in its capacity to generate change--REAL, SUSTAINABLE CHANGE. I'm proud to play any part I can in this endeavour to help the girls and women of the world to help themselves and their families. From the less glittery streets of New York City to the cemetery-slums of the Philippines or the most remote villages in Africa (where it can take several days to walk to the nearest hospital), W4 is working--through field partners and volunteers and donors/lenders--to make the world a safer, fairer place for everyone. I love the reach of this organization, on every axis, as it allows people to come together from anywhere and everywhere to have a hand in shaping the future of our world. For more specific details about W4's life-changing work and to discover what you can do to be a part of this commitment to making a fairer, more sharing world, please feel welcome to visit The Women's WorldWide Web on Facebook or at www.w4.org.

W4 has a very unique approach. They use perfectly the web to raise funds to develop micro credits, education and much more through dedicated projects in very poor countries. I love the fact that for once, women are recognized as the key to solve the problem and that they deserve all our help to make it happen. For 50€, I can become a real business angel and finance a loan for a woman in Guatemala so she can start her own business.

I first started working on W4's web platform 4 years ago with my classmates Lindsey and Isabelle. Little did I know though the extent to which it would grow and effectively affect women's and girl's lives throuhout the world. This comes through to me as reminder that with tenacity, dedication and passion for a higher cause, anything is possible. Today I am very proud to belong to this wonderfull organizartion.

I really love what W4 is doing to democratize philanthropy - showing that no matter your income level or geographical location, you CAN have a life-changing impact. It's inspiring to connect with so many diverse individuals across the world and discover each person's dedication to improving girls' and women's life prospects. Collaborating with these wonderful changemakers renews, on a daily basis, my own resolve to be a part of the solution. W4's grassroots approach is also refreshing in that donors can rest assured that their donation is being applied in the most effective, impactful ways possible. I plan to continue weaving the Women's WorldWide Web for many many years to come!
