Mission: Our mission is to expand the economic assets, participation, and power of low-income women and their households by helping them access financial services, knowledge, and markets. We partner with financial institutions, service providers, policymakers, investors, and donors to bring women-centered products, services, marketing practices, and policies to market.
Results: - Reached a total of 86 million women globally through financial inclusion and empowerment initiatives since 2018. - Invested over US $115 million in 22 financial institutions to reach more than 10 million female clients - Built global network of 74 financial service providers across 34 countries that serves more than 189 million women - 99 inclusive financial sector policies influenced to ensure greater access and equity for women
Target demographics: Low-income women build financial security, resilience, and prosperity for themselves and their families by improving access to quality financial services and leadership opportunities.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 1) Over 38 million women access financial services (exceeding our 2023 goal of 30 million) 2) Engage 10,221 women in financial needs assessments and human-centered design research 3) Reach 21.6 million women with newly developed gender-responsive financial products through 36 partners
