Mission: Women's Peacepower Foundation, Inc. is an award giving organization dedicated to bringing peace to the everyday lives of women and their families. Peacepower became a public foundation in 1999 and receives no government funding. Peacepower makes the majority of it's awards in two categories: violence against women and teaching peace. The Peacepower Women of Peace Awards honor activists working to end family violence with a small financial contribution to their project but even more valuable assistance in long range planning and fund development .This technical support enables growth for their projects to prosper and reach more people.
