Mission: As a global network and a movement for social justice, Women's Funding Network accelerates women's leadership and invests in solving critical social issues -- from poverty to global security -- by bringing together the financial power, influence and voices of women's funds.

Programs: In 2010, Women’s Funding Network supported women and girls around the world by growing the financial base of women’s funds, uniting women’s funds through collaborative actions for systemic impact, and building leadership and capacity to strengthen women’s funds. Highlights from 2010: Women’s Funding Network’s Women Moving Millions campaign raised $16 million for women and girls around the world, bringing the total funds raised since 2006 to $198 million. We enhanced Making the Case™ – our social change measurement system that evaluates impact – leading to an improved experience for over 200 funders and grantees, including external partners such as the Catalyst Fund, formerly of the Tides Foundation. During the Clinton Global Initiative, we made a $3 million commitment to Women Moving Jobs – a program uniting members who fund the most effective strategies to build economic security for women living in poverty in the U.S. Our annual conference brought together over 360 participants from 182 organizations dedicated to building a just and equitable world. We testified at the first-ever Congressional hearing to address sex trafficking of children in the U.S. as part of A Future. Not A Past. – our campaign to end minor sex trafficking in the U.S. In 2010, the initiative expanded to four states and engaged 33,000 people in online advocacy for national legislation to fund critically needed resources for survivors.
