Causes: Children & Youth, Civil Rights, Leadership Development, Women, Womens Rights, Youth Development - Business, Youth Development Programs
Mission: We develop female leaders through coaching youth sports.
Results: To date, we've had more than 80 young women coach nearly 700 kids across 7 different sports. 100% of our coaches want to coach again and all of them would recommend coaching with WCA to a friend. Coaches develop lifelong leadership skills through coaching and the experience helps them improve their communication, conflict management, adaptability and creativity.
Target demographics: to develop female leaders through coaching youth sports.

Geographic areas served: The Bay Area
Programs: We provide young women aged 15-26 who have played a sport with coaching opportunities, mentorship, training and payment so they learn to lead both within and outside of sports.
