Mission: Counseling, advocacy, and shelter services for victims of domestic and sexual violence in beaver county. Also, prevention and education programs for the community.

Programs: Domestic violence: provides a hot line and safe, temporary shelter 24 hours/day, counseling, support groups, legal accompaniment and advocacy. Outreach programs to the community.

sexual assault: provides 24-hour crisis hotline and hospital accompaniment, counseling, support groups, legal accompaniment and advocacy. Prevention education and training programs to the community.

transitional housing: provide transitional housing for up to one year, with supportive and educational services, for female-headed families who need to gain self-sufficency and permanent housing.

The Womens Center of Beaver County is a wonderful group. It's mission is based on the belief that all individuals have the right to live free from violence. They are committed to promote safety and independence with a goal to reduce and eliminate the cause-and-effect of abuse. They strive to educate the public and provide Shelter, counseling, support, advocacy and education to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Please support this amazing organization.

This organization has an excellent reputation in the community. WCBC is a comprehensive resource center for domestic violence and sexual assault, providing support, shelter, advocacy, and education in its mission to promote cultural change and end violence.
