Since 2005 my experience with this wonderful nonprofit has been as a class member or guest for a program. They offer writing classes for all ages. They encourage each individual to find their voice, develop their art and become a supportive part of the community in which they live.
The staff has been so helpful by encouraging me to get involved by not only attending writing programs but to also develop programs. From poetry, books, writing circles and music events this nonprofit makes living in Cincinnati special.

Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Adult Education, Education
Mission: Women writing for (a) change nurtures and celebrates the individual voice by facilitating supportive writing circles and by encouraging people to craft conscious lives through the art of writing and the practice of community.
Programs: Community partnership outreach programs: facilitated programs for women and girls of all circumstances some coed classes are offered. Those served include at-risk youth;individuals in poverty or experiencing homelessness; youth with learning disabilities; etc.
young women's girl's writing programs: facilitated summer camps and school year writing programs for girls to explore their creative inner lives through the art of writing. Served 85 youth.
adult writing programs: facilitated adult writing programs for a total of 221 participants. Various specialty classes served an additional 380 participants, reaching over 600 adult program participants.
