Causes: Employment, Job Training
Mission: Women in non-traditional employment roles is a non-profit economic development agency, with a mission to encourage and support girl's and women's education, training, employment, and retention in high wage, high skill jobs.
Programs: Winter recruits, trains, educates, supports and mentors women who are seeking non traditional careers, via partnerships with employers, unions and apprenticeship programs. Winter provides intensive workplace competency skills, construction trade pre-apprenticeship training, environmental remediation tranining and instruction in other non-traditional careers for women.
