Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: Women in Aviation International’s mission is to increase the number of women in all areas of aviation and aerospace.
Target demographics: Increase the number of women in all areas of aviation and aerospace.
Direct beneficiaries per year: all of our 20,000 members, women and girls who are inspired by aviation and aerospace.
Geographic areas served: countries around the world
Programs: Our annual conference, which provides seminars and networking opportunities for our members working in all areas of aviation and aerospace. Our leadership programs, such as our partnerships with Harvard University to provide the Emerging Leaders course, which concentrates on teaching women the skills required to become successful executives in the industry. Girls in Aviation Day is our annual event that introduces girls around the world to the wonders of aviation and aerospace.
