I learned about Women and Family Life Center from my doctor as I was leaving a very abusive husband in 2012. It was a relief to have a SAFE place to go. I met with the Divorce support group and the other women were very kind to me. One woman gave me an armful of self help books on protecting myself during the Divorce process.
I also used SMART Money and got a control of my finances, which was a tremendous relief.
Women and Family Life Center is an amazing resources during a very tender, lonely time in my life. They will always have my GRATITUDE.
Warmly,
Patricia Numberg

Wonderful!
All towns should have a Women & Family Life Center.
They have so much to offer.
Unfortunately, I have moved a little further away, so it’s difficult to utilize the Center.
I highly recommend visiting to see all there is to offer.

My 10 year old daughter had a wonderful experience in the Girls Coach Girls Run program this year. She gained self confidence the ability to run 3 miles and made some great new friends.

The Women and Family Life Center offers a free weekly breastfeeding support group, run by a certified lactation consultant. Being a new mom is stressful, and having this resource was invaluable to me as I navigated feeding my new baby and becoming a mom.
