I've been a patient at this facility for several years. I found the people very helpful. The office staff are always cheerful and very knowledgable as far as insurance goes. The Psychiatrist is the most well versed Doctor that I've ever been referred to. She was able to get me on the right medication on the first visit. I will continue to recommend them

The therapists seem nice, but I can't get past the receptionist's attitude. I called because I wanted to be seen promptly but didn't feel that my issues rose to a crisis level. She told me my therapist wouldn't be back until the following week and that if it was "that bad" I should go to crisis. Seriously? Couldn't even offer to have me see a therapist in the interim? The office manager called me back about an hour later offering me a different therapist in the meantime.
I had to cancel a later appointment due to being stuck longer than was expected at an unrelated doctor's appointment. I could hear the grin on her face on the other side of the phone informing me that I was going to still have to pay the $50 late cancellation fee.
The receptionist is just an angry troll who shouldn't be working in a counseling center. It's almost as if she gets off on giving people "bad news". I would love to go back there but I think I'll have to pass so long as Rumpelstiltskin works there.

I took my son here for severe panic attacks and anxiety disorder. He was on medication already but still doing terrible. Within a few months he was functioning, back in school and getting back to doing normal things. The staff is very professional, the office is comfortable and my son is very comfortable there. It was not the first place we went to. I totally recommend this place. We have had a good experience there.

I have suffered with depression, anxiety, panic disorder. The pain I felt was unbearable. I was at the last straw in life- I had no choice but to start going to therapy. From what I hear many police officers and fire fighters go to Wives Self help. My girlfriend, a wife of a police officer, told me to try it out-her and her husband attented for couple's therapy (needless to say they are still happily married). I was scared, didn't know what to expect. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The girls up front always have a smile on their face and are always willing to help you in any was possible & that just made me feel even better, seeing other people happy and smiling. It has been over a year now and I still attend counceling every two weeks. I've learned to handle things that I never thought I could-without taking anxiety medication. Wives Self help has changed my life and I will always be thankful to my girlfriend who referred me to this agency. Wives Self Help has changed my life in so many ways.. all positive.
