Programs: Continuing education credit hours as approved by the department of natural resources (dnr) are offered at a series of sessions that travel throughout the state. Each session has a series of speakers who provide content pre-vetted by the dnr to earn the credit necessary to renew their individual licenses held for pump installer, well driller and heat exchange driller. Including the second day of the annual conference, there were a total of ten of these training opportunities offered in the 2016-17 year.
the association's annual conference begins on the first day with the annual business meeting followed by a reception which recognizes scholarship winners, lifetime and honorary members of the association. The following day nearly 120 participants had the opportunity to earn continuing education credit hours as approved by the department of natural resources as well as visit nearly 50 exhibitors in the trade show. An evening bowling tournament followed the day of training.
in the 2016-17 year the association transitioned from an executive director operating independently, to a full-service association management company: svinicki association management, inc. Through this transition much effort has been put into restoration of the relationship between the wwwa and the department of natural resources (dnr).
