My 23 year old son, Nikolas was killed by Fentanyl poisoning on 12-22-18 in West Palm Beach, FL. I found this group to be very insightful and helpful after losing my son. Wings of Recovery has helped people get into treatment that otherwise wouldn't have been able to. Please
Mission: Our mission is to help connect people struggling with substance abuse to detox centers, treatment facilities and sober living. We provide transportation, to get to treatment centers if that person has already been accepted and it's been verified. We have resources for detox centers, treatment facilities, and sober living in the United States. We also spread awareness to family and friends about substance abuse at our events/fundraisers. When we have enough funding we help pay for detox, treatment, and sober living. So every dollar helps. Make Recovery the New Epidemic and save a life.
Results: With the little funding we have we helped a total of 49 people get to or get into treatment. Out of those 49 people a 25 signed consent forms for us to keep in contact with and 15 are still in recovery. Some are still in treatment and the others either relapsed or didn't sign the forms. That is a 60% chance of people succeeding and making their lives better.
Target demographics: connect people struggling with substance abuse to detox centers, treatment facilities, and sober living and spread awareness to Make Recovery the New Epidemic.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Flew 12 people, Placed 20 people
Geographic areas served: South Florida, but help anyone in the United States.
Programs: Giving them resources to facilities in their area, paying for plane tickets to get to treatment, seeking out scholarships for those without insurance, paying a portion of treatment, paying rent for the first week of sober living, and spreading awareness.

I was working hand in hand with Melissa to place a lady into our detox and am stoked about the level of attention and care this lady have to the client . It takes special patience and ability to listen when dealing with our clients that are going through massive crisis!! Thank you .
Lenny and Melissa are great people that help others struggling with substance abuse. If you donate to this non-profit they send you pictures and videos of what they do with your donations. We need more people like them in this World.

I'm so happy I reached out to Wings of Recovery Network Inc. They helped me get my life back. If it wasn't for their dedication I would still be out on the streets.
Helping people struggling with substance abuse is so rewarding to me. Our nonprofit organization doesn't stop until we get the help others need and deserve.
Helping people struggling with substance abuse gives me another day clean. I want everyone to find Recovery. We are losing to many people because of this fight. We need to Make Recovery the New Epidemic. #RecoveryisPossible
I can't thank the people at Wings of Recovery Network Inc enough. I lost hope and was ready to give up on life. My friend told me to reach out to them. I have no insurance so I didn't think they'd be able to do anything for me but I was wrong. They found a detox place that took me and then a 30 day program. I'm 13 months clean now. Thank you again.
