I started volunteering at Willow Farms recently-and I am amazed at the care and love the horses receive. The people here genuinely love the animals, and it is reflected in each horse (and donkey's) ease and gentleness. Some of these animals went through hell before being brought to the safe haven that is Willow Farms, and to see them healthy and happy and making a recovery, is amazing. It is a small rescue, but the heart behind it is evident in everything they do.

I have been a volunteer for about 6 months now and I love it. I have wanted to be around horses all my life and was delighted to find Willow Farms right here in Loxley. If you want to enrich your life and make a huge difference in the welfare of dozens of horses call and make an appointment to tour the farm.
Also please stop by on March 19th and 20th and check out the annual rummage sale/fund raiser. Its a fun way to get something for yourself and help the farm at the same time.
