This league is an embarrassment to the community and to non-profit recreational sports leagues everywhere. The politics are worse than travel soccer leagues. There are teams of 10 year olds that have been playing together since they were 5 including the coaches and all the new kids are on the same two teams which leads to teams who are beat upwards of 12 - 0 every single week.
This harms all the players as those teams that have extra weeks of practice, the most qualified coaches, the most skilled players and have been together for years can not improve or learn what the sport is really like when they are never challenged. For the kids who have never played before with coaches who have never coached before they will never want to play soccer again after a season of brutal beat down after brutal beat down with no instruction on how to improve.
This league should be shut down and a new honest and fair NFP should take its place. I am a parent and played in this league 25 years ago as well as refereed. This league is nothing what it used to be. What a shame and smear to the sport!
