Mission: Wildland Firefighter safety is of the utmost importance to our organization. We champion firefighter safety through independent investigations, education, and real life support for firefighters, families, and the fire community. Truth-Transparency-Accountability- Change, the future for wildland firefighter safety is now.
Results: 2019 Year to Date: • Distributed Healing Manuals and provided free psychiatric counselling to firefighters struggling with PTSD. • Financially assisted injured wildland firefighters and their families. • Investigated an anonymously reported wildland fire-related safety violation. • Conducted UAV drone, and technological research with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. • Researched an NFPA and NIOSH compliant wildland firefighting respirator. • Distributed over 40 Advanced Trauma Kits to crews in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, and South Dakota. • Provided over $5,000 worth of equipment to wildland crews. • Created Life Care Packets for the western states. • Created a video to go along with the Life Care Packets. • Travelled to active wildland fire Incident Command Posts to speak to the wildland crews present. • Reached out to over 2,000 wildland firefighters about the importance of Life Care Packets. • Was featured on Returning the Favor with Mike Rowe.
