I have been a volunteer for Wild Wings for about 3 years. It is the most wonderful organization. I can't say enough about how well the birds are treated. This is a great group of people and we have a lot of fun together and always feel appreciated.

Wild Wings is a must have at Dinosaur Ridge for our Reptile and Bird day. They're always so excited and happy to be at our events, and the visitors love seeing these amazing modern dinosaurs up close!

Wild Wings was an amazing addition to our regular summer camp programming. The birds were incredible and beautiful! Deanna's program was very informative and fun for kids and adults alike! The material was in depth and the educators made it very easy for the kids to understand and get excited about. I'll recommend this program to everyone!

Deanna and the birds are always a MUST at The Greenway Foundation's summer camps. Staff and children alike learn so much about the feathered creatures. Their curriculum fits in perfectly with our Things With Wings week! Not only do the birds impress but our kids loved the bat dress up! We definitely recommend this group to anyone who wants to learn about or share the love of creatures who fly! We were so excited to get to hear one of the owls hoot too!

I began volunteering for Wild Wings for the selfish reason of wanting to be close to such amazing creatures but quickly realized the importance of an organization like Wild Wings. Deanna's knowledge, about Raptors and their key roles in our environment is astounding and she strives daily to increase the centers resources and capabilities to better serve the public and the birds. The purpose and educational goals of Wild Wings is to truly help Colorado's raptors while allowing us an inside look at how they eat, fly, interact and function in today's world. From the silent, yellow-eyed gaze of Sophie the Great Horned Owl to the insistent chatter of Cliff, the Peregrine Falcon these birds will captivate and enrich your soul. Whether your 8 or 80 you will enjoy any of the programs Wild Wings offers and I guarantee you will come away with a new understanding of raptors, and even a few fun facts! ( Did you know that the Peregrine Falcon is actually the fastest animal on earth!?) If your booking a program, volunteering, adopting a bird or just visiting their website you can't go wrong with Wild Wings.

What a marvelous organization! Deanna is passionate about the environment, and her birds, and shares that passion during her programs. I am both proud and honored to be a volunteer for such a wonderful organization!

I became a volunteer for Wild Wings after seeing a program that was presented at a local birding store I frequent. I was absolutely wowed by Deanna's information and her care of the birds. I'm thrilled to be a part of this organization and humbled every time I interact with these beautiful creatures. Wild Wings has an important message to share with people of all ages. Taking care of the environment and it's phenomenal wildlife, is Wild Wing's top priority.

I have been to 2 programs put on by Wild Wings. Both of them were excellent! The presenters put on a great informative program and answered every question with clear and knowledgeable answers. I learned a lot and would highly recommend this organization. I would gladly go to more programs of theirs. They also help to make people aware of wildlife and what we need to do to protect it.

I have served on the board of directors for Wild Wings since the organization's beginning and am glad to have been witness to, and a contributing part of, the growth and exciting changes that have occurred to this point. Over the years, Wild Wings has increased its "bird family" with some very amazing birds (all of which have their own wonderful personalities and stories); the organization has developed and delivered additional intriguing and interactive programs, gained many wonderful followers and volunteers, and broadened its audience base over the past few years, reaching thousands of students and diverse crowds - connecting them with the natural world in which they live.

I can't say enough about the positive impacts Deanna Curtis has on Wild Wings (Deanna is the organization's executive director and head lecturer). Her passion for the birds shines through in her presentations and in the daily care of Wild Wings -- she makes programs fun, educational, and entertaining, along with an amazing ability to keep the safety and care of the birds as her top priority at all times. I honestly don't know of a time following a program in which audience members did not approach Deanna to express their appreciation and complete enjoyment of her presentation.
