Programs: The organization continued the operation of the kell house museum which is being renovated in order to preserve it for future generations. Through the museum, the community was provided exhibits as well as santa house. The wichita county heritage society selects buildings to save based on their historical significance. Elimination of blight and slums are also major factors in the selection of properties. The organization is proud to have found an owner to continue the preservation and restoration of the old post office. The organization also continued its education process by visiting schools and civic groups to provide historic presentations.
