I have a been a paid consultant to more than two dozen non profits over the course of my business career. I offered my services to this particular nonprofit on a pro bono basis, because I was so impressed with its mission and its management. There’s is a noble cause; to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. And that includes the isolated, the lonely, and those plagued by dementia. And they do all of that with the use of patient support kits which care givers, medical personnel, and family members truly need, desire and deserve. If you want to support a deserving charity, look no further.
Having watched a very dear to my heart family go through unnecessary heartache with a loved one, I am thankful and completely support this amazing cause. This organization will be a voice, a lifetime between patient and their family.
I have worked in Long-term care for many years. I can confirm how vital it is for care team members to have the information The Who I Am Foundation provides…it helps the team see each patient/resident as a whole person who has a history, a life, and people that love them. These kits are invaluable in all LTC environments. Such a wonderful gift!
