An elderly individual fell in my home and suffered a bad cut that caused a lot of blood loss. White marsh volunteer fire company was very nonchalant about the situation as they arrived on scene. They did not seem to be in a rush to help the individual in need as they were carelessly walking up the steps to help the person in need. They also refused to come inside of our home due to the fact that we were trying to get them please hurry because the individual was in such dire need .

I approve of the time that my significant other volunteers at the station. While this time is away from home, it is time well spend on a very worthy mission to protect lives and property in our community.

My wife fell in the house and broke her ankle (severely)...WMVFD ambulance arrived and were VERY professional and the whole time put her at ease with their conversations. Charles

White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company is a top notch organization which provides compassionate and quality emergency care. I've witnessed this first-hand on several occasions over the past few years, and each time I'm impressed more than the last. They are truly the best of the best, and I'm proud to have them in the community.

Every year we buy our tree from WMVFD. They have beautiful trees and they provide excellent customer service.
Their food truck Tuesday’s this year are a great way for the community to come together.

My husband and I have been members for years now. The men and women of this organization take time from their families to help this community in anyway they can. Great place to volunteer and a great new firehouse. Members are dedicated and thrive to help the community.

In 2014 I received a call that stopped my day in an instant. My son had wrecked his bike at summer camp and an ambulance had been called. The paramedics were kind enough to wait for me to arrive as my son was screaming that he wasn’t going to the hospital (despite already being strapped to the gurney). The paramedic reassured me that yes he did need to go to the Emergency Department. He had split open his forehead despite wearing a helmet. They were calm and allowed me to ride along in the ambulance.
A week later (after recovering from a concussion and 8 stitches) we stopped at the station. The volunteers were fantastic and took time out of their day to walk him around and explain different parts of the trucks and ambulance.
I cannot thank you enough.

WMVFC continues to be a great non-profit in which to volunteer my time as a firefighter and EMT, as well as in an administrative role managing information technology and social media.

My husband had a heart attack in January. The medic unit from WMVFC responded in record time. The crew was professional, efficient and caring. Their response time, the care he received during transport and the information they relayed to the hospital were vital to his survival. We can’t thank them enough!

These men and women donate so much time to their community. Some have run more calls than there are days in the year! We are so grateful to be protected by these honorable and dedicated individuals.

These guys keep getting better. I served with them 20 years ago and they have maintained the highest level of professionalism, support for volunteers and the community as a whole.

WMVFC hands down is the best station to be a member. The dedication to its members and community is the constant driver to succeed and train hard everyday. I have gained so much by being a part of this organization. There is always an opportunity to learn and the family unity is very strong. They always strive to improve on its members, leaders and answering calls from the community. There’s no other place I’d rather be.

I absolutely love this company. It is a second home. It is one big family. You get every part of a family. Each person learns something new everyday. One of my greatest decisions ever was joining. If I could do it all over again I would have joined sooner.

This Non-Profit has been a proud member of the Baltimore County Firefighting, Emergency Medical, and Rehab team for over 75 years. I have been affiliated with this origination since 1985 in many official roles. This origination has worked hard at bringing all parts of the Company to the top of the class. They have recently ( the last 10 years ) moved the Company from the excepted social club leadership to the format of running a business as we think the public we serve demands. We have followed the structure of businesses by creating department heads and upgrading the Board of Directors from 7 to 11 members and adding prominent citizens from our community. This has given the Company a wider incite of the needs of our community. This Company now stands as one of the most respected Volunteer Fire Company in the county and the state and holds the highest response rate in the volunteer system.

White Marsh VFC does a fantastic job in making sure the community needs are met in every capacity. Each year brings about changes and fine tuning processes to keep up with the growing needs of the community and the volunteer system.

WMVFC sets the bar high for all volunteer companies. The leaders know what it takes to serve the community and execute plans and policies to do so at a high level.

White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company is a wonderful nonprofit in my community. They are open and welcoming and very appreciative of the community they serve. I've been to several of their open houses where they serve delicious food and let everyone have a look at the equipment. Also, I can't think of anywhere else I'd get my Christmas tree!

I have been involved with his Station for 10 years. This place has gotten me through some tough times in my life. It's members are always striving to learn more about the fire and ems service and how they can provide more for their community. This is a great family to be part of and I can't wait to see what wonderful things are in its future.

I recently talked to a White Marsh VFC cadet- she told me that her middle school stresses her out. That people are constantly fighting, that she struggles to find friends who share her focus & interest. She's at WMVFC because she wants to be an EMT/FF. I'm sure she has an excellent future ahead of her & I'm grateful that White Marsh can provide her a path to her goals with their cadet program.

Well where do I begin...I joined this organization back in July...I'm sorry(family)..I have belonged to a number of organizations in my day and I have never felt the tight knit brotherhood anywhere like I feel when I'm there...there is always someone around or available to help you in any way...they go above and beyond to make sure your comfortable in whatever task your doing..and the love they have for their community is unbelievable...every community function they become involved in is done with 110% effort...I'm so proud to say I am a member of this family...I wish I could rate them with more than 5 stars ...they deserve it

WMVFC is such a wonderful place to be a part of! I was a teenager who wanted to help people and WMVFC accepted me with open arms and taught me everything I needed to know to start! I learn something new everyday that I am there! There is not another fire house that I would want to be apart of. Its truly a great fire house and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

The WMVFC is a prime example of what a volunteer organization should be. The leadership far exceeds all others in Baltimore County and they continue to do this while maintaining high morale and retention amongst the team.

I have been a member of this organization for 4 years and am very proud to be part of such a prestigious non profit. Time has proven the unwavering dedication of all members to serving the public in a professional manner.

I was brought on the Board of Directors as a non fireman, community member. Along with two other community members we get to influence the business making duty of the board who runs the fire company. After serving on many boards this is by far the hardest working board I have ever been a part of. Things are done and presented at the meeting, it is not a work session, it is a decision making session. As new ideas are presented they are worked on immediately and while not everyone thinks things should be done the same way, through discussion the best decision is reached and adopted by all.

There is strong fiscal responsibility and a strong working budget with transparent, user friendly, financial reports.

In addition to adapting the company to ever changing county fire department policies, accomplishing the first merger with another company in the Baltimore County Fire Department, and building a better station to attract members and better be able to protect the community they also man the equipment and respond to more than 10 calls a day making it one of the busiest stations in the county.

I am proud to be a part of this progressive organization and look forward to serving into the future.

I am happy to be a member of this organization. I have been a member for 11 years and served in various leadership positions. I have witness the organization grow and improve over the last couple of years to better serve the growing community. I think it is a great place to volunteer.

WMVFC is a group of dedicate emergency personnel who spend their so-called "free time" protecting the lives of property of the residents they serve. I have the highest level of respect for what they do on a daily basis. WMVFC is in the process of raising funds to build a new station to provide even better service to the community.
