Mission: To organize and operate a fund or foundation exclusively for educational, recreational, and charitable purposes for youths of the washington, dc metropolitan area. The foundation shall encourage, sponsor, promote, and support the boy scouts of america, and, in particular, troop 8 of the national capital area council. In general, it shall promote, maintain, and support recreational and camping areas. Additionally, it will provide, maintain, and support meeting places for the boy scout troop 8 and cub scout pack 8.
Programs: To assist mid-atlantic residents, particularly young people, as they attempt to grow into civic-minded adults.
