Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Preserve and display westford history.
Programs: History & historical programs: maintain westford museum; create and display exhibits. Open 2-4 pm and by appointment. Three major new exhibits and three minor exhibits per hear. Over 700 visitors per year. Quarterly news letter distributed to members.
historic preservation & conservation: restoration of westford common including tree planting, benches and construction of a bandstand. This is an on-going project.
history & historical programs, general/other: six lectures, ten folk concerts, six session genealogy class, six session historical book reading group, historical tea party reenactment. (0 viewers/participants)
tour 475 westford 3rd graders through the museum -- a five day program. Antique house tour open to the public.
common restoration project was enacted to restore the historic westford common to its original condition. Many old trees were removed and new planted. New beaches were purchased and a band stand erected.
