Causes: Human Services, Transportation Assistance
Mission: The purpose for which the corporation is formed is to help meet the transportation needs of the older adult and visually impaired populations of westchester county, ny and western fairfield county, ct by creating a network of sustainable, community-based, volunteer transportation services in order to promote lifelong safety, independence and mobility.
Programs: Westfair rides provided 502 trips to 50 active riders and registered a total of 150 riders between 7/1/13 and 6/30/14 for a total of 6,982 miles and 543 hours. 8 new volunteer drivers were recruited, screened and trained.
